Made in the Col. Littleton Workshop of polished American steer hide with soft leather side gussets. Solid brass hardware. Brass lock may be parked when not in use. Secured with a WWII-style snap closure. Unique copper tube across the spine equally distributes the weight of the bag when loaded, and tube's flex joint allows this bag to contour to your hip for comfort. Leather inside pocket holds your iPad®, pen, stylus, business cards, etc. Carrying handle and adjustable shoulder strap. Inside dimensions are 14 1/2"H x 12 1/2"W x 3"D. Solid brass serial-numbered I.D. plate under front flap.
May be personalized with three initials on front brass oval plate.

Overall Quite a Great Bag!I must say that when I received this bag I was a bit nervous about how my 15" MacBook Pro would fit in the front compartment. The bag was a bit "tighter" than illustrated in the site's photographs. Once I worked everything into the bag and let it work in for a few days it all fell into place. Great fit for my laptop, iPad, small portfolio and an adapter or two.
One thing is for sure. Aside from this being a great bag you will feel great carrying it! After all, doesn't that have a little something to do with spending this kind of money??
I highly recommend this as a great alternative to a larger bag. I still own my Hartmann Mobile Office but haven't had to use it for most of my day to day travels.
The No. 42 is a great mid-sized bag to carry.

Overall Outstanding BagI was looking to downsize my briefcase and found this one. It is smaller than the average laptop bag but will holds a lot of stuff. I always carry my iPad but not always a laptop. I use the laptop area for a portfolio and other paperwork when I don't need my notebook. I use packing cubes to carry the other items such as chargers and cables and store them in the main compartment. It easily holds my iPad, 15" notebook and three cubes with extra room left over. In the 4 months since I have used the bag, I have received more compliments than with any other bag I have carried. It is starting to take on a beautiful patina one would expect with a premium leather bag. I would highly recommend this bag.
