Possibles bag small size is available in vintage brown.
I’m not sure how far back the original drawstring pouch goes, but I do know that in the 1800’s you would be hard pressed to find a traveler without one. From my days as a Boy Scout, I have lived by the motto, “Be prepared.” You can pack enough essentials in these bags to prepare for most any contingency.
In times gone by, people used bags like these for trips into the wild and stuffed them with medicines and survival items. It’s still a jungle out there – only the essentials have changed. Today, you might stash your bag with jewelry and accessories, coins, mobile phone, etc. Use them to hold your valuables in your golf bag, or to hold your cat’s eye or aggies. The possibilities are endless.

We are committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that showcase our time-honored standards of excellence and deep respect for the Americana tradition. Col. Littleton products go through rigorous testing and numerous quality inspections before being shipped to our customers. Should you receive a Col. Littleton product that is defective in materials or workmanship, you can count on us to make it right. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of the product itself. It also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item which has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.
Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steer hide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.
I see a real resurgence in the country today for products made in America. Our focus is to design and create products that speak to the time-honored traditions that have made this country great such as handmade craftsmanship, authentic rich leathers and quality workmanship. There’s a nostalgic feel about the products we make . . . most of them could have been made 100 years ago and many are made using turn-of-the-20th-century methodology and machinery. Our products are true Americana; forged as our forefathers intended by people who care and take pride in making a beautiful product.
Customer from Southern California here. I ordered a small possible bag specifically to keep my rosary in. I cannot stop wearing it, I made it a part of my outfit everyday! It has so much character. I love it and I will definitely buy some more quality products from here in the future.
On a recent visit to Lynnville Tennessee, I knew I had to stop at Colonel Littleton’s and check out their retail store. A friend had given me a CL catalog some time back, and since then, I knew I had to check out their exquisite collection of handmade leather goods. I was not disappointed. While there, I picked up a small “Possibles Bag” I thought would be perfect for holding some small photographic accessories. The craftsmanship is amazing even for such a small item. What I enjoyed almost as much as the bag, were all the extras I received along with my purchase. I don’t think I have ever purchased an item where I have received so many interesting “freebies”. My little shopping bag not only held my purchase, but also contained a short history of Colonel Littleton, a leather coaster, Littleton cash coupon (I assume for a future purchase) as well as an appeal by the Colonel to greet people with the question “How’s Your Conduct” instead of the usual greeting you might give like “How are you?” There was even a Moonpie in the bag which was an unexpected treat for my drive back home to Alabama. I will be bringing my wife with me on my next visit to the Colonel’s. My only fear is that I won’t be able to get her to leave.
My small Possibles bag arrived today. 1st class Leather and workmanship beyond my expectations. I had an opportunity to speak with Joyce in Customer Service, very charming, patient and helpful. Lastly I would like to praise the outstanding packaging; beautifully executed and who can resist a delicious Moon Pie?
Purchased this valuables pouch for our son heading of to college next year to keep his personals together.
Bought my wife one of these on a stop by the Colonels, she liked it so well had to order her another one to keep her jewelry in and her knives. Thanks Colonel
