No. 21 Leather Portfolio

Colonel designed this two-tone No. 21 Leather Portfolio as an addition to our extensive line of portfolios and writing accessories. Travel sized and easily transportable, it is ideal for your bedside table, automobile, shopping excursions, meetings, etc.

The No. 21 Leather Portfolio sports a dynamic duo of vintage brown and saddle tan full-grain polished leather. The vintage brown back wraps around the portfolio and artfully decorates the saddle tan front exterior.

Large inside front pocket for documents, receipts, passport, etc. or it’s a good home for your iPad® Mini. (Please measure your device to ensure a proper fit.) Inside pocket dimensions 8 5/8” H x 5 ½” W. Outside dimensions 9”H x 6¼”W closed. Comes with Colonel-designed Memorandum Pad which may be reordered or works well with a standard 5 x 8 ruled pad.

  1. I was in the market for a “real” leather portfolio for a team gift that was more personal and not too “corporate”. Boy, did this beat my expectations! The quality is impeccable and the look is just as nice! The process was painless and simple. Kuddos to the customer support team also as they worked with me on my order. I will definitely be coming back in the future for personal and corporate gifts. And yes, the smell fresh out of the box is amazing!

  2. I’ve admired Colonel Littleton’s products via their web site for years. I finally purchased this portfolio and it exceeds the high expectations I had for it. I look forward to carrying it for years to come and to relish the compliments it will receive.
Oh, and one more thing…..you can’t beat the beautiful smell of fine leather.

  3. I could not be happier with the quality of this portfolio. A+ and I intend to buy one for my son in law as well. Even better was the level of customer service. Shipped with monogram the day after I ordered it and at my doorstep four days later with superb wrapping materials, a gorgeous color catalogue and a few gifts. This is the way business should be conducted, I felt as if I stepped back a 100 years ago. Restore your confidence in good old fashioned American business and order from this company!

  4. Well, our family has the 18 and 20 portfolios as well as other items and are thus rather enthusiastic about the Colonel’s leather tools for the hand and mind. I just received the 21 and it is just right. It’s handy and a little lighter feeling than some of the others in a good way. Nicely done right next door in Tennessee

Our Story

We are committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that showcase our time-honored standards of excellence and deep respect for the Americana tradition. Col. Littleton products go through rigorous testing and numerous quality inspections before being shipped to our customers. Should you receive a Col. Littleton product that is defective in materials or workmanship, you can count on us to make it right. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of the product itself. It also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item which has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.

Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steer hide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.

I see a real resurgence in the country today for products made in America. Our focus is to design and create products that speak to the time-honored traditions that have made this country great such as handmade craftsmanship, authentic rich leathers and quality workmanship. There’s a nostalgic feel about the products we make . . . most of them could have been made 100 years ago and many are made using turn-of-the-20th-century methodology and machinery. Our products are true Americana; forged as our forefathers intended by people who care and take pride in making a beautiful product.
