  2. Have carried a Littleton pocketknife for over ten years. Own two and swear by them. Just purchased another for my teenage son. Ordering was simple and easy. Package arrived quickly thereafter – just as promised. Great pocketknife. Was not aware of the full array of products until recently. Will absolutely be ordering more from Col. Littleton. Former “Big” fan – now a “huge” fan.

  3. I own two pocket knives made by He Colonel. They are of the highest quality and perform and sharpen with ease. I now carry the smaller of the two, which is so comfortable in my pocket, but in the past, carried the larger to finish cutting faster. That is until I lost it in the cracks of my recliner. Someday it will fall out, I believe.

  4. Really beautiful knives with great customer service. I had really messed up. It was Monday morning and my son was graduating from college on Friday. I had been planning to order custom engraved Foxfire 12 knives for him and his best friend as graduation presents. Unfortunately it had slipped my mind until I thought it was too late. I called on Monday morning to check if there was any way to get two knives custom engraved and shipped to me in time (I needed them by Wednesday in order to have them by the time my wife and I left home for the trip to the University). The young lady who took my order assured me the knives would be engraved and shipped that day and that I would have them the next day. This was even with special engraving that was not one of the 10 different options listed on the web site. The knives arrived the next day and they really are beautiful pieces of work.

  5. I love everything about this knife. From the clever, thoughtful packaging all the way to the practical use. Beautiful packaging, incredible quality. Best customer service ever. Hands down.
Can I just add how much I appreciate having someone answer the phone when I call? I am a Colonel Littleton customer for life.

  6. My New Everyday Knife!
I’ve been using my new No. 12 Foxfire Knife for over a month now and can’t leave home without it. Both blades seem extremely durable and have had no problem slicing through my daily tasks. I’m not one that likes to carry too much stuff in my pockets so its smaller size is perfect. With that said, my only word of caution is that the knife and blades are smaller (3″ when the blades are closed). This was a perfect size for me but is not going to cut down a forest if that’s what you’re looking for. Oh yeah, and the packaging (moon pie, hand written inspectors signature and message from the Colonel) is top notch! Thanks Col. Littleton!

Our Story

Our Warranty
Our Warranty

We are committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that showcase our time-honored standards of excellence and deep respect for the Americana tradition. Col. Littleton products go through rigorous testing and numerous quality inspections before being shipped to our customers. Should you receive a Col. Littleton product that is defective in materials or workmanship, you can count on us to make it right. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of the product itself. It also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item which has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.

Our Leather

Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steer hide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.

Our Craftsmanship

I see a real resurgence in the country today for products made in America. Our focus is to design and create products that speak to the time-honored traditions that have made this country great such as handmade craftsmanship, authentic rich leathers and quality workmanship. There’s a nostalgic feel about the products we make . . . most of them could have been made 100 years ago and many are made using turn-of-the-20th-century methodology and machinery. Our products are true Americana; forged as our forefathers intended by people who care and take pride in making a beautiful product.
