The Inspiration behind the Secret Pocket Key Rings
Two years ago, Colonel received a letter from our good customer, Ray, who had a brilliant idea. As a fan of items with “secret pockets”, Colonel was excited to work on this new concept. This is the story of how a customer’s idea made it into production.

“I’d like to share a letter with you that I received from a customer a while back. It’s kind of interesting… he says, “I just wanted to reach out with a suggestion. This idea came from a story my pastor told me one morning about forgetting his wallet and finding himself away from home and quickly running out of gas. In situations such as this, having some cash on you can literally be a lifesaver. Who knows where you should run out of gas and find yourself with no money. My idea is simple really… you can’t drive without your keys so just have something on your key chain which can conveniently and covertly stash some cash. One bill, even with the high price of gas today, will be enough to put some gas in your tank.”Â
Well Ray, it took me two years to put it together but I have finally come up with it. Here we are with the two Key Rings that have a hidden pocket for some money. Thank you for a great idea, Ray!”
