How soon will my order ship, arrive, and will I receive a tracking number?

How do I check my order status?

Can I place my order over the phone?
Yes, our Customer Service Department will be happy to assist you with your order Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CST (Holidays excluded). Call our toll-free number at 800-842-4075 for assistance.
Where is my package shipping from and do you ship internationally?
All orders ship from Lynnville, TN USA. International shipping is not available at this time. We will update our website should these services become available.
Will personalization delay my order?
No, personalized items do not delay the shipment of your order. Orders received by 1:00 pm CST will ship the same Business Day. This includes orders requesting engraving or embossing. (“Business Days” include Monday – Friday, excluding major holidays.)
Can I change my shipping address after I place my order?
Contact Customer Service quickly at our toll-free number 800-842-4075 to request a change. We can change the address if your order has not been fully processed.
How do I cancel my order?
Since we offer same-day shipping, incoming orders move quickly through our system. If you need to cancel an order, please contact Customer Service as soon as possible. If the order has not been personalized or shipped, we can cancel it. If it has been personalized or shipped, our normal Returns/Exchanges policy will apply.
Why do you have to ship “Signature Required” for $1000+ orders?
This is required by FedEx and UPS.
FedEx/UPS lost my package. What should I do?

I ordered the wrong item. Can I return or exchange it?
Yes, if your product is not personalized and is in new, unused condition, you may return/exchange it within 30 days of purchase. Personalized items generally cannot be returned/exchanged. Can I return or exchange something I received as a gift?
Yes, if your gift is not personalized and has not been used or worn, you may return/exchange it within 30 days of the original purchase. See our Exchanges & Returns page for more information.
Can personalized items be returned?
We’re sorry but personalized items generally cannot be returned or exchanged. If we have made an error in personalizing the item or if the item is defective in materials or workmanship, we will be happy to replace it or credit your account. See our Exchanges & Returns page for more information.
Can I exchange a belt for a different size?
Yes, belts that are in new or unworn condition can be exchanged within 30 days of the purchase date. Contact Customer Service at 800-842-4075, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
How long will it take to receive my refund?
Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to show on your account. You will receive an email confirmation that your credit has been issued.

What is the warranty policy?
Integrity is a huge word in personal and business relationships. At Col. Littleton we strongly believe in product integrity as well as integrity in our dealings with our customers. We are committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that showcase our time-honored standards of excellence and deep respect for the Americana tradition. Col. Littleton products go through rigorous testing and numerous quality inspections before being shipped to our customers, but we realize unexpected things can happen. Should you receive a Col. Littleton product that is defective in materials or workmanship, you can count on us to make it right. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of the product itself and also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item that has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. Product Information
What kind of leather do you use?
The majority of our products are made of Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned American Steerhide and Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned American Buffalo. A few items, primarily belts, are made with our stronger, stretch resistant full-grain Italian Bridle Leather. We also have a special collection of luxurious American Alligator products.
Who designs your products and are your leather products really made in America?
All of our products are designed by the Colonel himself, and yes, all of our leather products are made in a small town in America – Lynnville, TN, USA.
Do you accept custom orders?
Even though we do not offer custom orders, Colonel loves to hear new product ideas. Feel free to reach out with any new product or product-modification ideas!

What is Full-Grain Leather?
Our products are made in the USA of the finest leathers, thread, hardware and other materials. Full-grain leather is the strongest, highest-quality leather available for use. It refers to the topmost layer of the hide where fibers are the strongest. Our full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather is a natural leather. Since it has not been overly-processed, it retains the character and markings on the surface of the hide such as scars and wrinkles and is expected to have variances in shade, color and texture consistent with the external characteristics of natural leather. This natural leather ages with a beautiful patina and carries with it the marks of your life and daily journey. This process makes each Col. Littleton piece as unique and individual as the person who carries it.
What is vegetable tanning?
Vegetable tanning is a process that uses natural tannins extracted from plant-based materials such as bark, leaves, and fruits instead of synthetic chemicals. It is a traditional and natural method of tanning leather that has been used for centuries and produces a durable and high-quality material. The process takes longer and requires more labor-intensive steps compared to synthetic processes like chrome tanning. Vegetable-tanned leather has a unique appearance and develops a distinctive patina over time. It is also considered to be eco-friendly and sustainable compared to other tanning methods as it uses natural, renewable resources and does not release harmful chemicals into the environment.
Product Care Information
Natural Variations – Our products are made in the USA of the finest leathers, thread, hardware and other materials. They are not mass produced but handcrafted in small batches from full grain leather and other natural materials which are expected to have variances in shade, color or texture consistent with the external characteristics of natural leather.
Brass and copper have been chosen by fine craftspeople for centuries. Our products that feature brass or copper can be expected to develop a rich patina with use and age. This is a natural progression and should be expected. These product variances, consistent with the use of natural materials, are all part of our plan to give you a unique product that will grow old gracefully and develop character and beauty as time goes by.
How do I store my products?
Col. Littleton products are designed to last for generations with proper care.. When storing your Col. Littleton leather goods for an extended period of time, we advise keeping them in the cotton canvas dust bag they came in and storing them in a cool, dry place. We would also advise you to treat your leather products with the conditioner contained in our Leather Care Kit, which has been specifically formulated to condition our natural, vegetable tanned leather. This is especially important if you live in a hot, dry climate which is generally not kind to fine, natural leather goods and could promote dryness and cracking without proper conditioning.
How often should I use Leather Care on my product?
There is no set rule for how often you should condition your leather products. Climate and use will both affect how quickly the leather requires conditioning. When the leather starts to look dull and dry or has unwanted surface scuffs and scratches from use, that is usually an indicator that it is time to condition. Our Leather Care Kit, which has been specifically formulated to condition our natural, vegetable-tanned leather, is available for purchase and has the tools you need to keep your leather looking beautiful for decades.
How do I clean my leather products?
With proper care, Col. Littleton products are designed to last for generations. For best results, treat the entire item for a uniform look. Our leather care is not a spot cleaner. Marks from ball-point pens, oil stains, etc. are pretty much “there.” However, use of our leather care can help blend them, as well as other surface scuffs and scratches, into the background making them less noticeable. In time, they will become part of the beautiful patina and aging process typical of natural leather. To clean your leather goods, we advise first using a dry cloth to remove any dust or dirt. Then using a soft cloth, apply the leather cleaner that comes in our Leather Care Kit to the entire surface, massaging it into the leather. When the conditioner has had a chance to dry, use a soft bristled brush to buff the leather, bringing back its shine and beauty. Our leather conditioner has been specifically formulated to condition our fine, natural leather. Please do not use regular soap and water to clean your leather products. Doing so will remove the natural oils in the leather, causing discoloration and possibly shortening the lifespan of the product. Is your leather waterproof?
No, as with most natural vegetable-tanned leather, our products are not waterproof. Water and other liquids will stain the leather. Please do not use regular soap and water to clean your leather product. Doing so will remove the natural oils in the leather, causing discoloration and shortening the lifespan of the product.

Our customers often ask “Is the Colonel real?”. We can assure you he is real. He is at the Col. Littleton Office & Workshop basically every day. He designs and stands behind the products we produce. If you have an opportunity to visit our retail store in Lynnville, you may get a glimpse of him in the store or walking up the sidewalk in front of the store.
