“Dang oatmeal raisin cookies almost cost me one of my prized possessions.”

Hello, I want to tell you a story of luck or good fortune. Maybe both but likely it’s the result of living STELLAR!

I’m a LONG time Col. Littleton customer… got my first knife from you in 1992 or 1993 and have accumulated quite the stash of fine accouterments over the years. A few years ago my daughter and I came to Lynnville and I bought a No. 30 Composition Notebook cover of cowhide trimmed in alligator in store with her. It’s very special to me and I rarely take it anywhere as a carry alone. It’s usually tucked into my Private Stock Buffalo Saddlebag Briefcase that my wife gave me for my 40th birthday (which was 8 years ago now)! But on Monday I took the notebook from the briefcase and went into a meeting we had in Winterville, MS.

We finished the meeting with supper and the hosts sent us home with homemade cookies. I walked out holding a plate of cookies and the notebook. I do remember putting the cookies in the backseat of the truck. We headed home to Starkville, MS in the dark and drove 150 miles down gravel and asphalt, hitting bumps and potholes and then speeding up to 75-80 MPH at times passing cars. After dropping my coworker off at the office I went to my house and parked. I got out and walked behind the truck only to see my notebook sitting wedged into the rail of the toolbox after riding the whole way home without blowing off! I was queasy and elated all at once.

Can you believe that my special notebook made the trip and fortunately had only moved around on the box and not out of the bed of the truck?! I would’ve been devastated and then dumbfounded when I realized it was gone and had no idea where it had gone to. Dang oatmeal raisin cookies almost cost me one of my prized possessions. Anyway, I love your stuff and hope you enjoy the feel good story. Tell your customers they need to follow best practices and always put those notebook INSIDE their saddlebag AND INSIDE their truck. 1943 Navigator Briefcase

My wife bought me the 1943 Navigator Briefcase in American Buffalo as her anniversary gift to me. It is the most remarkable briefcase I've ever used, and that includes my 31 years in uniform, my days in the private sector as an engineer, and through my ten years with the Department of Energy. Now, the 1943 Navigator Briefcase is my daily briefcase for my teaching at North Carolina State University. I have taken it to my office and my classes throughout the last semester, and it still looks like new! It is rugged, good looking, and it will hold my textbook, notebook, and even a small thermos for my coffee. It is the most practical of the several briefcases I've used over the years, and without a doubt, the very best. Thank you to the craftspeople at Colonel Littleton for making this fine product right here in the USA!

No. 27 Passport Wallet – Vintage Brown

My husband and I were introduced to Colonel Littleton this year when he was gifted a portfolio; the love began! We have ordered throughout the year and each time the products meet and exceed our expectations. Our latest purchase were the passport wallets. Just received my No. 120 Valet Tray today and wow, it is really nice. I actually bought the No. 3 Dresser caddy as well. Excellent quality and the customer service is second to none. I had both pieces customized and it still only took 3 days from time of order to showing up at my front door via UPS! Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on these products - you get what you pay for and you'll appreciate good quality stuff.

I look so great in hats but have never actually owned one that I could wear comfortably after the initial try-on moment. They were either too tight or too hot or lost their shape right away if they happened to actually fit to begin with. So frustrating. This hat has been absolutely perfect! Visit to Lynnville

My daughter and I visited your shop and the town of Lynnville on Aug. 10, 2024. We enjoyed our visit so much that I plan to bring visiting family members there in the future. We loved your leather shop. The lady who waited on us was super friendly—very gracious and helpful. We missed meeting Col. Littleton and his wife, but hope to in the future. We purchased a few items for Christmas presents, and I know they will be very well received. The ambiance and the smell of fine leather permeated the shop. We had never been to Lynnville but found it a charming place and hope to visit again soon. It’s wonderful to still have USA-made, fine craftsmanship in our country.

Wow! I’m so impressed with the customer service I received from Ms. Judy. I called her up and she helped me pick out a timeless piece of art that will be passed down. Not only did she help me pick it out but she also processed the order and made it very easy. I received it within two days like I was told. Also the gift coaster is cool and they even sent a moon pie for my bed time snack. I’m not easily impressed but they exceeded my expectations by far. No. 33 Notebook

The No. 33 Notebook in tobacco brown is very well crafted. I have had compliments whenever I take it out of my bag. I have no complaints on the look or feel of the high quality leather. In terms of functionality small tweaks would have made a big difference. A pen loop in a fold of the notebook instead of one side would reduce the bulge when closed. Maybe an option where we remove the memo pad and use this as a notebook only. Suggestions for improvement but overall definitely worth the money.

...It was such a pleasure being in your store and I just had to have the Colonel’s playing cards! They are everything you could expect and more. The quality is superb and I love how they feel in my hands! But I will say that even more special was how I felt in the store and when I opened my bag and saw the gift of a leather coaster as well as the card and stickers. I was blown away! PRODUCT: No. 11 Money Clip Wallet – Vintage Brown

Purchased the No. 11 Money clip wallet in Vintage Brown. Husband’s old money clip needed replacement. It was so hard to find a money clip that was 2 3/4 and with a Pressure money clip. I ordered from other companies and returned even with magnet clip(not good). Well was about to give up. Saw Colonel Littleton website. Was very impressed. Well I ordered it and low and behold husband loved it was fine with the size and beautiful quality of the leather and the great pressure clip (don’t ever change please). Will have this for a long time. Very handsome and well made product and size is great. So many clip wallets are too large now and very difficult to even find pressure clips that are permanent.
