Our vintage brown polished leather dopp kit is made from American steerhide and complemented by a No. 8 Khaki Cotton Canvas interior which snaps out for cleaning. It’s roomy, convenient, and will upgrade your shaving experience.
This is not your usual “pop-open” shave kit. The combination of leather and canvas produces a toiletry bag pleasing to the eye and durable enough to withstand the rigors of travel for years. Even when this one is road-tested and battle-scarred, it will still have a look of quality and character.
Handmade in the Col. Littleton Workshop in Lynnville TN, USA with full-grain, double-tanned, polished steerhide. This dopp kit is composed of American leather that’s both vegetable-tanned and hand-tanned to a smooth finish. Over time, this special leather develops its own natural character and patina.

If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.
Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steerhide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.

This is the best shave kit I’ve ever bought, probably will be the only one too since I see this bag lasting me for the rest of my life. You rarely see such craftsmanship in stores these days. This #2 shave kit is made from full grain steer hide, solid brass and cotton canvas with old world craftsmanship. A combination that is almost impossible to find in today’s world, but a combination that allowed our ancestors to survive. This shave kit seems very expensive until you realize you only need one for a lifetime. Certainly heirloom quality. Hats off to Col. Littleton!
