  1. Just purchased the No. 9 Journal for the 2nd time (as a gift for my brother’s 40th Birthday)! Beautiful craftsmanship – And the store in Lynnville was great to seeing person! Keep up the great work!

  2. The No. 9 Journal has been a companion of mine since 2011. Quality craftsmanship and toughness provides a classy impression that encourages even the toughest of men to reflect and journal. The paper quality is perfect for the man who appreciates a hand ground customized fountain pen to paper. If you are reading this to help make a decision to purchase, leave this review and push “add to cart” immediately. You will be better for it.

This is the heirloom quality journal that I have always dreamed of owning and I can’t wait for my son to take possession of it and start his own writing journey.

  4. I received my new journal today. I could not be more pleased!! As usual, it was packaged beautifully and impeccably. I have been wanting to begin journaling my prayer life and my walk with Jesus for some time. I wrote my first entry this evening and ended up writing two full pages. I could have kept going, but I didn’t want to use up all my space right off the rip! The No. 9 seemed a perfect fit for me because of the size. I look forward to cataloguing the journals on my bookshelf. Maybe, one day when I am grey and old (or gone from this world) my children will read them and see how the Lord worked in my life as their father and see how their lives were shaped by my prayers for them, which began before their birth. The No. 9 Journal makes journaling that much easier because of its craftsmanship and its attention to detail. I am already planning on stockpiling refills, so I can be prepared for all I have to write! I serve an awesome, amazing God, and His promises that he keeps in my life are but a taste of His goodness! I hope someone reads this and comes to seek Him out. Your life will never be the same!

Thank you, Judy for your customer service! Thank you, Colonel for your craftsmanship and attention to detail! And thank you HA for your inspection and beautiful packaging! I tell everyone I meet about this company. It all started when my wife came across a leather pocket register that I turned into my passport wallet. Now, I have nearly 10 different products from the Colonel, and I am starting to buy items for my children! Colonel has built a lasting legacy; one that I am proud to share with my sons!

Thank you all for all y’all do to make my purchases so special!

  5. Bought this for a gift for my wife and I to journal our next season of life. It is high quality, and they expedited delivery so it would arrive by the holidays. Looking forward to writing in this for years, and keeping for many years beyond that!

Our Warranty

We are committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that showcase our time-honored standards of excellence and deep respect for the Americana tradition. Col. Littleton products go through rigorous testing and numerous quality inspections before being shipped to our customers. Should you receive a Col. Littleton product that is defective in materials or workmanship, you can count on us to make it right. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of the product itself. It also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item which has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.

Our Leather

Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steer hide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.

Our Craftsmanship

I see a real resurgence in the country today for products made in America. Our focus is to design and create products that speak to the time-honored traditions that have made this country great such as handmade craftsmanship, authentic rich leathers and quality workmanship. There’s a nostalgic feel about the products we make . . . most of them could have been made 100 years ago and many are made using turn-of-the-20th-century methodology and machinery. Our products are true Americana; forged as our forefathers intended by people who care and take pride in making a beautiful product.
