No. 18, 28, & 36 Portfolio – Standard 8.5″ x 11″ Refills – Set of 6

When Colonel originally designed his first portfolio, it was a natural fit to also create a high quality, custom-made memorandum pad to be included with each portfolio. Then of course, he wanted to make it easily available for reorder.

These Memorandum Pads are an exceptional pairing for our collection of portfolios. Made in the USA in a pleasing shade of cream, each pad holds 40 sheets that are secured in place by black tape binding and solid brass rivets that were hand-set in the Col. Littleton Workshop. At the top of each sheet is a featured area for notes, date, time of meeting, and subject. The Col. Littleton logo is tastefully noted at the bottom of each sheet.

These refill pads are the perfect fit for the No. 18 Portfolio, No. 18 Tablet Portfolio, No. 28 Portfolio, & No. 36 Double Portfolio. Also fits the Leather Emissary Envelope.

Standard USA Size 8 1/2″ x 11″ Memorandum pad. Set of 6.

Made in the USA.

  1. I received and began using my Colonel Littleton No. 18 Portfolio (stunning patina by now on the leather) in September of 2013. Many, many, many pad refills later, I still love it and always enjoy my interaction with the company. Here is a company that knows a thing or 10 about customer service and appreciation! Thanks Colonel & Team!

  2. Absolutely thrilled with the refills. The pads fit the #18 portfolio perfectly and the paper and layout are high quality. That being said, I think I was most impressed with the personal touch Col. Littleton added during the shipping process. I only ordered refills (no leather products this time around, but hopefully more soon), but I received a personal note thanking me for my purchase. I will absolutely be back for more!

  3. Love the portfolio and I took my time filling out the initial fill. Finally ran out and ordered more. They keep fast and VERY well packaged. Fit perfect as expected.
Also included some postcard type thank you notes. I’ll definitely order again when the time comes!

  4. Love the refills, they are first class as you would expect from Col. Littleton. The color of the paper and the brass rivets are very attractive. Lastly, I appreciate the amount of thought was put into the layout of the page. Thank you for not cutting any corners and having the refills made in America!

  5. Absolutely pleased with these refills!! Once I saw the quality of the memo pad provided with my No. 18 portfolio, I knew I needed to have some refills handy, and not just any refill would suffice. I will never put a generic pad in my portfolio after using Col. Littleton’s! As always, the packaging was perfect! Judy did an amazing job!! Thank You!! I am only a few coasters away from having a full set of coasters for my whiskey glasses. I have more orders to place, I reckon!

Our Story

Our Warranty

We are committed to producing quality, handcrafted products that showcase our time-honored standards of excellence and deep respect for the Americana tradition. Col. Littleton products go through rigorous testing and numerous quality inspections before being shipped to our customers. Should you receive a Col. Littleton product that is defective in materials or workmanship, you can count on us to make it right. Our guarantee is limited to the cost of the product itself. It also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item which has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.

Our Leather

Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steer hide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.

Our Craftsmanship

I see a real resurgence in the country today for products made in America. Our focus is to design and create products that speak to the time-honored traditions that have made this country great such as handmade craftsmanship, authentic rich leathers and quality workmanship. There’s a nostalgic feel about the products we make . . . most of them could have been made 100 years ago and many are made using turn-of-the-20th-century methodology and machinery. Our products are true Americana; forged as our forefathers intended by people who care and take pride in making a beautiful product.
