As the calendar turns to a new year, we find ourselves reflecting on the journey that brought us here. 2024 was filled with opportunities to create, craft, and connect with you—our valued customers who make everything we do worthwhile. In 2024, Colonel re-introduced his Private Stock Collection, released a few brand new products, and crafted products in American Buffalo previously available only in American Steerhide. Last year was busy and exciting and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The Backpack that Blew Everyone Away
The No. 9 Rover Backpack was released in December 2023. With each early re-stock of this stunning bag, they sold out before the sun had a chance to set.

Our #1 Belt was the No. 1 Belt
Who would have guessed that the No. 1 Leather Belt would be our #1 best selling belt? Probably Rob who bought his over two decades ago…

The uniqueness of Colonel’s belt collection is in its adjusting feature. The traditional front buckle belt allows only three inches of fluctuation. Colonel’s belt adds another 8 inches, adjusting in one-inch increments.
Here’s how it works. Rather than adjusting and readjusting the belt in the front and messing up the leather, you park it in the middle position, where it belongs, and make any necessary adjustments on the side. That way if you have on bulkier trousers, a heavyweight shirt, or layers for warmth… if you lose a few pounds or, heaven forbid, gain a few… your belt accommodates all these variations nicely.

Private Stock Pieces That Were Hard to Let Go Of
Colonel had a lot of fun last year. In November 2024, he re-introduced his Private Stock Collection. Every day he would come to the workshop and design new and unique products with a rugged feel and an adventurous spirit. In the span of two months, 100+ of these exclusive products were released and bought by fellow lovers of “art from a different perspective.” Every item was truly one-of-a-kind, featuring authentic rancher’s brands, vintage and rugged leather, special character, and different textures and colors.

New Products in 2024
Last year, Colonel spent countless hours in his workshop designing new products. From crafting a few favorites in American Buffalo that were previously only available in American Steerhide to introducing The Secret Stash Collection, Colonel was determined to craft truly unique, heirloom quality treasures in 2024. The new No. 3 Travel Trunk undoubtedly takes the cake for his biggest project of the year which was years in the making.
Here’s to the New Year!
2024 was an exciting year filled with new products, collections and some really unique creations. Since the very beginning in 1987, we have strived to make quality leather products that folks are proud to carry and that, one day, might become a treasured family heirloom. We take great pride in the fact that our products are handcrafted in small town America (Lynnville, TN – Pop. 327) using many of the same tools and methods used by our forefathers. Since we are the Great American Leather Company®, we go the extra mile to live up to our heritage in quality and service as a testament to those who have paved the way before us.
